Lynn Matheson purchased five year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix Dancer from a dog trainer when she was a puppy. Dancer stood out to Lynn among the other dogs in the litter because of her unique colors. The other puppies were black and white, while Dancer was mixed with brown and white. Also, Dancer has a distinguished beauty mark on her eyelash that makes her unique. Lynn has owned dogs all throughout her life, and loves playing with and spending time training Dancer. They are still learning and working on many tricks to perform. The toughest part about owning Dancer believe it or not is that she actually talks back! She will bark back at Lynn (as if she was talking back), so together they are working on improving this behavior. Dancer is such a character, she also has the funny habit of chasing the cat when she gets a chance. Lynn loves being an American Idogs team member because she gets to interact and bond with Dancer, and she has also met many new people on the team that she has become friends with.
