At fifteen years old, Taylor Burfeindt is the youngest member of the American Idogs team along with her two year-old Springer Spaniel Jake. Her aunt had previously owned a Springer Spaniel which made Taylor want to own one of her own. When she went to pick Jake out of the litter of puppies, he responded to her and followed her around more than the others; from the beginning, Taylor felt they had a strong bond which is why she selected him from the rest. Jake is Taylor%u2019s first dog to call her own, and they enjoy going to the park and the lake together to burn off some energy. Taylor%u2019s favorite trick to have Jake do is the double high-five, but being in high school it is challenging for her to balance time between Jake and school. Jake makes the whole family laugh, they all agree he is the goofiest when he tries to run in the water and instead ends up hopping like a kangaroo. Jake siblings include another family dog, and a baby peacock which he shares the house with. Taylor enjoys being a part of the American Idogs team because she loves practicing agility with Jake, and they are able to spend quality time together with the team.<br/>
