ABOUT OUR ROLL OVER ROVER TRICK TRAINING * The more time you spend with your dog, the greater the bond grows between the two of you. * Performing tricks enhances your dog’s self confidence because of all the praise he gets. * Tricks and agility exercises give your dog a job to do and he becomes better behaved as a result. * Performing tricks and agility exercises also teaches your dog to learn and to think. * You get to show off how smart he is! * The best result is that you and your dog will have a lot of just plain fun.

ABOUT OUR Clicker Training *Come with your dog and learn the ultimate technique to train your dog to be the top of his pack! In this five-week program. you will learn how to use this amazing dog-training tool that is the clicker. At the end of the program, you will know the techniques to have your dog listening to you each and every time you ask him to follow a cue or perform a trick. * No more yelling at your dog or pushing and pulling your dog. * Use positive reinforcement.   * Reward your dog for good behavior instead of punishing bad behavior.

ABOUT OUR Canine Musical Freestyle seminar You saw it on Animal Planet, America’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, and Youtube.com. Now it’s here! Learn to do a routine to music with your dog! Can  I do it? The only requirement is to have a dog! And you know what?  Virtually anybody can do it!  It’s really fun! Just ask Tango and Ding Ding! Senior citizens really enjoy Freestyle as much as teens and dogs over 12 y/old. We have junior, beginner, intermediate as well as advanced divisions. Your or your dog size’s doesn’t matter.   Look at Daniel, he’s a 6’3” 243 pound man, Tango is an 85 pound mixed dog and Ding Ding a 48 pound Australian shepherd! That’s why canine freestyle is becoming so popular. One size fits all. What will I learn in this 8 week class or one day seminar? - Basic competition rules of WCFO and the different classes. - The different styles:  Heelwork and freestyle. - About the costume - Composition of a routine. - Video presentation of actual international competition. - Target training. - Basic clicker training. Basic position Like: Heel Position– Turn-Pivots -Front work -Lateral Work -Side Pass -Diagonal Pass -Distance Work -Pace Changes -Optional Movements -Stepping in place  - Weaving - Rollover -Crawl -Jump -Spin . Note that even if you don’t need a big background in obedience training, it is highly recommended that  your dog can do the following basic commands like: Sit, Stay, Come, Lay down and heel position. This will make your learning experience in canine musical freestyle more enjoyable.

Teach your dog what you want him to learn without prong or choke collars. Learn shaping and positive reinforcement techniques. At American Idogs Academy we will help your dog with one of his biggest problem...YOU! Yes, dog training can be difficult. It's a lot like raising children in some ways - it requires some patience and doesn't always happen as quickly as we'd like. So we will help you to teach him. And if you really take the time to try to understand how your pet thinks, you can make sure that your relationship will have a better ending. Don’t forget that if you learn what "makes them tick," then the process of dog training will be much simpler and much more successful. And who knows?
